# D.O.T. Type A1 Field Attachable Couplings
Gates D.O.T. Type A2 Field Attachable couplings work with C5C, C5CXH, C5D and C5M hoses to allow for easy assembly fabrication of air brake, power steering, transmission oil cooler and hot oil lines without the need for a crimper.
– Designed to perform with Gates C5 hose.
– Zinc-plated carbon steel.
– Meets DOT FMVSS 106-74 Type AII.
