Temperature Range: -425°F to 1200°F
Suggested Tubing: Recommended Tubing: High-quality, fully annealed stainless steel tubing in the following grades: Type 304, 304/304L, 316, 316/316L, 317, 317/317L, 321, and 347. Manufacture: Seamless or welded and drawn tubing in accordance with ASTM A269, ASTM A213, or equivalent. Hardness: Not to exceed 90 HRB or 200 HV. Surface Condition: Tubing should be free of scratches and surface defects, with finish suitable for bending and flaring. Tolerances: OD tolerances should not exceed ±0.003 in. for 1/16 in. OD tubing. Wall thickness tolerance should conform to ASTM requirements. Ovality: Certain austenitic stainless steel tubing may have an allowable ovality tolerance up to double the OD tolerance. In such cases, tubing ovality may impact proper installation and performance in precision tube fittings. Dual Certification: Grades such as 304/304L, 316/316L, and 317/317L are dual-certified. These meet the minimum chemistry and mechanical property requirements of both alloy designations and are acceptable for use with Brennan stainless steel tube fittings.
